About this tool

This free Shopify theme detector tells you which theme a Shopify store is running. Paste the store's URL and it reads the store's published theme information directly from the page. Where the official Theme Store name (the theme's schema name) is available we show that first, falling back to the merchant's custom theme name. It also confirms whether the site is built on Shopify at all — handy for store research, competitor analysis and theme inspiration.

How do you find the theme?

We read the store's published theme data embedded in the page. When the official Theme Store name (schema name) is present we show it first; otherwise we show the merchant's custom theme name.

Why didn't it find a theme?

The store may not be on Shopify, may use a heavily customised theme that hides its name, or may block automated requests. We'll indicate when the site isn't a Shopify store.

Does it work on any store?

It works on publicly reachable Shopify storefronts. Private, password-protected or internal addresses are blocked for security.
